Altar servers assist the priest to
ensure the smooth flow of the Liturgy. They serve at Sunday Masses,
Stations of the Cross curing Lent, and at other special celebrations.
Boys and girls must be in grade four or above and have received the
Eucharist to be trained as an altar server. They serve as scheduled;
usually two times per month dependent upon need and the number of
available servers. Altar servers also meet once per month from
September to June.
Usually one adult volunteer is needed to help with the training
of the servers, as well as, a volunteer to help set their schedule. |
